Roots & Renaissance was created from a deep desire to honor where Liz comes from while reimagining how culture lives in the present. Growing up influenced by Trinidadian and Ghanaian heritage, community, and creativity, while also being a part of Black America, Liz wanted to build a brand that tells those stories in a way that feels intentional, modern, and wearable. This brand is about preserving roots; history, memory, and identity; while allowing space for growth, reinvention, and self-expression. Every piece is designed to feel like a bridge between past and present, celebrating culture not as something frozen in time, but as something living, evolving, and proudly worn.
